Care guidelines

We love wearing our Paddelle Jewellery and always want it to look it's best. All jewellery requires cleaning to ensure you can keep wearing it and have it looking as good as new!

Our jewellery is handcrafted from a mixture of materials: Sterling Silver, Gold Plating, Rose Gold Plating, Cubic Zirconia Stones and Lab Grown Diamonds. All of these can be taken care of, you just need to know how, and that's where we come in.

Some items may tarnish, this is a natural process and not a fault. There are many factors that add to this such as perfume, exposure to high temperatures and even your skin's PH. Below are tips to keep you jewellery looking its best for years to come.

Sterling Silver:

-Avoid any chemicals such as perfume, cleaning products and chlorine (yes, this means to swimming in it)

-Keep it in an airtight pouch or jewellery box to slow down oxidisation

Rose Gold and Gold Plated:

-Only clean with a cloth, cleaning liquid will strip the plating over time.

-Limit exposure to cleaning fluids, perfume and chlorine.

Cubic Zirconia:

-Although this should be done with all jewellery, avoid any impact. Cz stones are strong and durable, but there is a possibility to chip is knocked harshly.

-When washing, use a mild soap and warm water, ensuring it is dried thoroughly before wearing or putting back in its pouch or box

Lab Grown Diamonds:

-Clean regularly with warm water and mild soap to maintain brilliance.

-Avoid residue build-up by removing before applying lotions and perfumes.

-Store them securely, ensuring they don't scratch any other jewellery.

General care tips:

-We always say "last on, first off". Put your jewellery on after makeup and perfume, and remove before undressing.

Taking care of your jewellery doesn't have to be complicated, a little attention and gentle handling go a long way to keeping your favourite pieces shining and looking great for years to come!
